Десять относительно богатых промышленных стран, которые в 1962 г. согласились предоставить средства для Международного валютного фонда (МВФ) (International Monetary Fund (IMF)). Это Бельгия, Великобритания, Западная Германия, Италия, Канада, Нидерланды, Франция, Швеция, США, Япония. Они создали и ввели в обращение специальные права заимствования (Special Drawing Rights). Швейцария, хотя она и не является членом МВФ, стала членом общего соглашения о займах МВФ (general arrangements to borrow), заключенного странами Джи 10 для расширения кредитных возможностей Фонда.
